DuPont® Corian®
This excellent material is the original solid surface, DuPont® invented the Corian in 1965 making it over 40 years old. They have however moved with the times and are still the market leaders through Europe and the US. Corian® is a 13 mm thick acrylic resin and natural mineral sheet, the standard sheet dimensions of Corian are 760 mm x 3680 mm. We join the sheets together with a special adhesive formulated by Corian® that creates a seamless and near invisible joint. With the use of our GET-I thermoforming oven we can also bend the Corian® sheets to any three dimensional shape, we can also sublimate images onto the surface of Corian®.
Corian® also offer a vast array of sinks made from the same material, for use in kitchens and bathrooms. Can’t find a sink you like why not get us to make you one.
