Avonite a stylish surface from the states.

Avonite made in the USA, they offer a standard range of colours to compete with the other brands and also a studio collection that is aimed at interior design. The studio collection offers a selection of colours and shades with particles that are set in a clear acrylic and polyester matrix, which look amazing when highly polished, similar to the look of polished granite but with the features of solid surface.

They have a small selection of eco friendly colours that are made using 40% recycled consumer waste, these colours are more earthy tones.

We used Avonite Amber Glass to fit out the San Carlo Flying Pizza restaurant in Leeds, this colour is translucent so it was used to great effect on the bar tops and wall panelling which was then backlit with LED lighting to give a very effective glow.

Sheets are available in various widths and lengths measuring 3680mm x 760mm and 3000mm x 900mm and a standard thickness of 12mm, they also offer some 6mm sheets in a limited colour range.
